About The Church at New Lasea

New Lasea is a fellowship of Christians who strive to follow the New Testament.

We are non-denominational with no doctrine to guide us except what is found in the Bible.

We believe the Bible is God’s revealed will for us and the words of the Bible will lead us to the proper relationship with Him  (II Tim 3:16).   We also believe that Christ is the Head of the Church (Eph 5:23).

We are led by an Eldership selected from among our members and meeting the qualifications found in the Bible, and we have deacons that serve in various capacities (I Tim 3:1-13).

We strive to be humble servants and believe that every member is called to serve others just as our Lord Jesus came to serve.

During our time of worship and Bible study, we set our attention on the Lord. We praise him with our voices in acapella signing (Eph 5:19), approach him with our prayers and listen to a message based on his word (I Cor 1:21, 23-24). We partake of the Lord’s supper as commanded on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7).
